Six Word Story Poster

Six Word Story Poster

Description

For this project, we had to create a poster that tells a story using only six words. I decided to base my design on a Ghibli movie. I’ve always loved the little white creatures in Princess Mononoke, so I placed them atop buildings in my artwork. My inspiration came from the Kodama spirits featured in the film. For the main message, I wanted the viewer to connect with the idea that midnight conversations are special. Late at night, we reflect on ourselves more deeply than during the day.

Challenge

The biggest challenge was figuring out how to tell a meaningful story with just six words. Luckily, Princess Mononoke sparked an idea. My six-word story—“Midnight conversations with stars sparked dreams”—captures the magic of late-night talks. It evokes a sense of intimacy, reflection, and the way nighttime inspires deep thoughts and aspirations.

Outcome

I loved working on this poster. It was fun and exciting because I got to express my creativity and emotions through it.
